Central Florida Association of Physicians from the Indian subcontinent and its subsidiaries, service providers, partners, web managers, contractors, agents, and affiliates (collectively, “CAPI”, “us” or “we”) understand that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal data is used by CAPI on our websites, applications, advertisements and related services, including capimed.org and the mobile-optimized versions of these sites (we refer to these sites and Apps collectively as the “CAPI Sites” or “Our Sites”). When you apply for or renew a membership; register for events or programs; sign up for emails or newsletters; complete online forms or surveys; make donations; sponsor or exhibit an event; send us an email or fill-out an online form; participate in elections; communicate or connect with us; use any Services; then:    

we may collect Personal Information such as your  Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Professional credentials, Practice information, Billing information, Payment information (credit card information is not stored by us and is processed securely through third-party providers), and any additional information you choose to provide.

When you visit Our Sites, we may automatically collect IP address; Browser type and device information; Pages visited and usage data; and Referral sources.

How do we use your information?

CAPI may use information about you for various purposes, including to provide, maintain, and improve Services; process event registrations, sponsorships and donations; respond to your comments, inquiries, and requests; provide customer service;  communicate updates, newsletters, and important announcements; solicit feedback or information through surveys;  elect committe members; and communicate changes or updates to Services; monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with Services; detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities, and protect the rights and property of CAPI and others; improve our marketing, programs, Services, and Our Sites; produce aggregate, non-identifiable usage statistics; comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

CAPI does not sell personal information.

Email Privacy

CAPI does not sell, rent, or share email addresses with outside organizations without permission, except as required by law or as necessary to provide services through trusted vendors.

Our Sites may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. Credit/DEBIT Card Information

We do not receive or store any credit/debit card information. Any credit card information you provide for registration or renewal of membership or with respect to any Services is collected and processed by a third-party processor and is subject to that third-party processor’s own privacy policy. You should read that third-party’s privacy policy before you provide any credit/debit card information.

CAPI takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
