This year, we are proud to congratulate Jesse Caron, MD, recipient of the CAPI Resident Award, and Thomas Shimshak, MD, recipient of the CAPI Faculty Award, recognized at AdventHealth’s 2026 Research Day.
The CAPI Award for Excellence was established in 2015 through a $60,000 endowed gift from CAPI members, creating a lasting commitment to recognizing excellence in medical education, mentorship and service.
